After successful completion of grade 4/5 ISTD students may be invited to go on to study for Vocational exams - Intermediate Foundation,  Intermediate, Advanced 1 & 2. Any student wishing to study at vocational level MUST attend two classes per week.

Ballet

At NLPAC we recommend students learn Classical Ballet.

A sound ballet technique provides an easy transition into other forms of dance. Ballet trains the body carefully, developing strength, control, coordination and line.

We offer beginner classes for 3-4 year olds, and teenage students returning to ballet or starting for the first time, spcialist boys classes along with graded classes in ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet. Students are given the opportunity to take exams from Pre-Primary up to Advanced 2 Vocational exams. Students wishing to be entered for exams must attend an extra class in the term of the exam from Grade 1 upwards. The DDI & DDE teaching qualification is aslo offered in Imperial Classical Ballet.

Flat ballet shoes can be purchased from the NLPAC reception. Please seek your teachers advice for bying Pointe shoes. Uniforms can be ordered from IDS Dance Shop at www.idsshop.co.uk/
