A wonderful evening of celebration

On Sunday 26th November, students old and new, parents, colleagues, staff, supporters, friends and family all came together to celebrate our Principal, Emily Byron, receiving her MBE and a fantastic 25 years of her work with NLPAC and the community.

What a wonderful evening it was!

The fantastic Momentous Photo Booth was at the party from start to finish with the cool GIF photo booth to document the night and gave our guests a memorable animated GIF!

The children were constantly entertained by Neverland Events’ wonderful Fairies and Princesses and by Puppetit Entertainers with their fun activities!

We can’t wait to see the photographs from the event from Green Antlers Photography, who were there throughout the whole night capturing all the fun (and happy tears!)

Of course the night was also all about raising as much money as we could for the wonderful Variety Children’s Charity

Variety Children’s Charity improve the lives of children and young people throughout the UK who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged. Variety provides coaches and bespoke wheelchairs, specialist, sensory and recreational equipment for use in the home, school, children’s hospitals and youth centres and creates memorable experiences through “Variety Great Days Out”.

All ticket sales, raffle ticket money and auction proceeds will go to this worthy charity. A big thank you to Malcom from Variety who came to talk at the event.

Thank you to David Lammy who attended and spoke about Emily’s work. Emily was nominated for the MBE by David Lammy for her work in the borough and surrounding areas.

The bidding was fierce on the auction items and we are adding up the total money raised as we speak! A huge thank you to those individuals and businesses who contributed to the auction and all the great raffle prizes as well as Alexandra Palace for hosting the event.

The evening was topped off with singing and music performances and talks from past and present students who had heart warming stories of how Emily has made a positive impact on their lives.

Thank you to everyone who was involved, supported and attended. Here’s to the next 25 years!
