Graded Ballet
Welcome to Ballet at NLPAC
We offer graded and vocational ballet exam classes for girls and boys in ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet.
Our classes are structured to nurture solid technique while fostering enjoyment and sense of performance.
ISTD Graded Exams
We endeavour to enter all pupils who wish to take exams, but these are not compulsory when attending classes at NLPAC. All we ask is that students attend their classes regularly (with an extra weekly class in the exam term from grade 1) and commit to achieving a minimum pass standard.
NLPAC is an exam centre. We host both the mock exams and the exam at the centre.
Non-Syllabus Classes
We offer non-syllabus classes for ages 3-4 and ages 11+ for those starting ballet or returning to it. We also have dedicated boys’ non-syllabus ballet classes as part of our Saturday Boys’ School.
NLPAC Alumni
Our students have participated in London Children' s Ballet productions, ISTD Senior and Junior Ballet Awards and Associate courses at both Central School of Ballet and Royal Ballet School.
We are very proud of students who have continued their training at schools such as:

Many have also joined renowned Ballet and
Contemporary companies.
Our teacher training course has also seen many talented teachers gain their level 4 Diploma in Dance Education (DDE).
