Tap dance is one of the most enjoyable and rhythmic forms of dance. Tap is excellent for developing a sense of rhythm and musicality as well as performance skills. 
 
At NLPAC, we offer ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) exam classes, fun introductory classes for pre-school children and non-syllabus Tap as part of our Boys School.

Make sure you are booking the correct grade!

If you have not been advised by your teacher, contact NLPAC to book a trial.
If you are in the wrong class you will not be refunded, but any fees paid will be credited to your account for the current term.

Trial a Class

Trial classes are charged at £20 for Group Classes and Stage School

This fee will be deducted from membership after trial.

Exam classes follow an accredited syllabus, enabling students to work towards a graded examination if they wish.
 
We also provide Vocational Intermediate and ISTD DDE teacher training. The ISTD is an awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual. Examinations from Grade 1 and above are on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and from Grade 6 students receive UCAS points. 
 
Exams are held at our studios in the Summer term. To be considered for ISTD exams from Grade 1 and above, students may be required to attend extra coaching classes in the term prior to the exams.
 
If you’re unsure which grade you should pick, please contact the NLPAC office and arrange a trial class, once a trial class has been taken, the teacher will suggest the best possible class for the student.
