Head of Department

If you are HOD staff, you will need to add

1 hour using your department code

for every week worked

Example:
For this example I will use the Head of Drama rate

The last day of the week I worked was Saturday for 5 hours.

I add my Saturday teaching hours as usual, plus one additional hour using my HOD department code.

This will automatically update my weekly pay to include my HOD rate.

Workshops

If you are teaching a workshop

you will be paid a day rate

For workshops, you will be paid either a half or full day rate, depending on the length of the workshop.

This is calculated based on total teaching hours, minus breaks, ahead of time.

To log workshop hours, you only need to enter the number of full or half days taught, not individual hours for each day.

Example:

example 1:

On Monday, I am teaching a full day workshop that runs from 10:00 am – 3:30 pm

I log my Monday teaching hours as one hour using the WS department code.

example 2:

On Tuesday, I am teaching two half day workshops, one that runs from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm, and one that runs 1:00pm – 4:00pm

I log my Tuesday teaching hours as two hours using the WSH department code.
